Chalet Les Pelerins
Chalet Les Pelerins is a stylish, comfortable chalet for you to relax and use as a base for winter or summer adventures, whether you are looking for a fully catered luxury break, or would like the flexibility of a self catered stay.
We committed to the environment and try our best to be a Green Chalet - we are the first chalet in Chamonix to install solar panels for heating water, we manage our energy usage and recycle where possible.
The highly flexible layout means that the Chalet can be used as a large 14 person catered chalet, or can be split into fully equipped self-catered apartments.
The chalet was fully renovated from roof to basement during the summer of 2007, with the renovation focused on keeping original features, but providing a stylish, comfortable and relaxing interior. Throughout the renovation environmental impact has been carefully considered, with sustainable materials being used where possible and particular attention paid to energy usage.

About Us
Chalet Les Pelerins is owned and run by David Robertson & Mark Gillis and is also the base for the highly successful Action Outdoors – an adventure travel company specialising in all-inclusive adventure sports breaks. www.action-outdoors.co.uk. Both the owners are sport enthusiasts, trying to spend as much time as possible pursuing mountain & sea sports.
The chalet team consists of:-
Robin, our American chef, who when not creating mouth watering 3 course meals in a wide range of styles, likes to play guitar, listen to music, renovate his camper van – and do some pretty decent freeride skiing around Chamonix.
Emma, our Swedish chalet assistant, who looks after the domestic side of things and likes to ski and party when not working.
Andrew, our South African driver – when not driving he’s most often to be found on the mountain skiing, climbing & ski touring. Always a useful guy to ask for advice on routes & conditions...
David, one of the Scottish founders of Action Outdoors, lends a hand at whatever needs doing and will provide “resort guiding” plus help out sorting out equipment hire, instruction, guiding and generally making sure you have a smooth holiday.
Action Outdoors
Was founded in 2004 to provide activity breaks. We work in very close partnership with UCPA, a large French organisation (like a cross between the sports council and the Youth Hostel Association). Sports vary from Skiing in the winter to paragliding and kite surfing in the summer – if an outdoor activity exists then we probably have it on our list! We believe passionately in sport and the outdoors. Our UCPA programme makes the outdoors accessible to all, with an incredible value for money offering. Our Inspired To Ski programme focuses on high end coaching to get the very best from your skiing
The chalet offers a blend of stylish comfort (maybe even luxury..) but still with an emphasis on the activity. We have some amazing coaching weeks & can always book the best local instructors and guides.
We are members of the TOPPS scheme to offer consumer protection and also hold an ATOL licence should you wish to buy a flight package from us.
