The Chalet

Stand outside on the deck on a clear night and you’ll understand why Chalet Vincent got its name. The celestial canvas is a dazzling array of sparkling pinpricks, each flickering dot combining to illuminate the magnificent peaks of the Aiguille du Midi and looming Mont Blanc in a monochrome mountain masterpiece.

The chalet is a spacious 156 m2, there are 6 bedrooms, 3 baths and 4 WC's. The chalet was built with children in mind and is thus a perfect place for a family to spend a wintery week away. 

 

 

Upper Floor

The upper floor has two bedrooms. The large master bedroom has a modern bathtub and wash basin, dresser drawers, a clothing cupboard, a bookshelf and two bedside tables. French doors open up unto a private balcony that has two chairs and a small table with beautiful, unobstructed views of the Mont Blanc Mountain Range.

The other bedroom is a twin/double bedroom. The twin beds zip together to become a double bed. It has a wardrobe, dresser drawers and two nightstands. Another room in the hall between the bedrooms holds the bathtub/shower and a wash basin and there is also another room with a WC and a wash basin.

 

 

Middle Floor

The middle floor is the living area. It has a large, open plan, modern kitchen with a 5 burner stove, double dishwasher, combined washer/dryer, small refrigerator and a small freezer. There is a small bar area that links the kitchen with the living room. 

The living room has a leather couch that sits 6 people with a couple of cushions around to seat extra people. The views from the couch are stunning as the look out unto the Mont Blanc Mountain Range. The dining table sits 10 people. Light pours in throughout the day with all of the large windows around. There is a twin/double room on this floor. The twin beds zip together to become a double bed. It has a wardrobe, dresser drawers and night stands.

There are three exits from the middle floor to the deck and large garden. There is one in the kitchen, one in the main room, and a set of French doors by the kitchen table. There is a large deck with a granite table that seats 6, and a small breakfast table that seats two people. 

 

Lower Floor
The downstairs area was built with kids in mind. There are two bunk rooms. Both bunk rooms have a third bed that can be pulled out from underneath to sleep a third child. One of the bunk rooms has a bean bag couch as well as a tv/dvd/video game console & there is also a separate entrance from one bunk room to the garden. There is a twin/double bedroom as well. The twin beds can be zipped together to make a double bed. All the bedrooms have windows that open up to the outside which allows for a light to come in.

There is a separate WC with a wash basin and a large master bathroom that has an enclosed shower, a bathtub/shower, a WC and a wash basin.
