Guest Testimonials

  • The chalet is clean, comfortable and well maintained with a roaring log fire in the lounge/dining room. Tasty, home cooked meals are served with tea and cake available in the late afternoon. Even the most voracious skier is left sated.

  • The chalet is spotless and spacious with generous views of the Alps. David proved to be an excellent host and will go out all the way to make sure you are at home. Highly recommended place to stay in Chamonix.

  • Exactly what I was looking for: a comfortable and relaxing place, made so by both the scenery/location, the personal attention/support provided to your stay and vacation intentions, and the comfort of the chalet itself. The feel is simply: it's your home too.

  • We spend some wonderful days in Chamonix. Staying at the Chalet les Pelerins was one of the reasons that our vacation was great. The place is comfortable, clean, and adorable. The staff, Lynsay in particular, was so helpful in every way.

  • Staff / owners, breakfast, Chamonix were great. I went with my son (16) and we walked into town each night to eat out. It was brilliant for bed and breakfast and has bus stops right outside for access to all ski areas.

  • Excellent accommodation with a wonderful ambiance. It was like home from home. Nothing was to much trouble, if you required anything you only needed to ask and they will try to accommodate your request. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

29th January – 5th February – Introduction/Intermediate Off-Piste instruction & guided week
5th March – 12th MarchIntermediate/Advanced Off-Piste instruction & guided week

Price: €1,540

A special week created by the team that run Action Outdoors (UCPA UK). We are aiming at two groups of two levels per week to allow a small group of Off-Piste skiers to enjoy the very best skiing around the Chamonix Valley in addition to improve your skills and technique in various terrain and snow conditions.

The key to a successful week is flexibility
We have maximum of 6 clients guide/instructor ratio with our own transport to take you around France, Italy and Switzerland in search for the best snow. Uniquely for this program we have 5 guided days from 6 skiing days. We will decide during the week which days will be guided - this means we can choose the program by the weather and snow conditions. We strike a balance between instruction & guiding - very flexible and agreed between the group and our lead guide.

  • Delicious breakfast each morning - fruit, yogurt, cereal, porridge, eggs, cheese, ham etc

Lead Guide/Instructor
Seb Cazorla - UAIGM High Mountain Guide & Full Diplome French Ski Instructor.
Seb has been teaching skiing for 20 years and has been guiding for 9 years and is only 41 years young. He has an amazing ability to improve our skiing by just making tiny changes to body movements.

Off-Piste Introduction
You need to be skiing red runs in controled parallel turns and you are able to handle black runs.

Off-Piste Intermediate
You will have previous experience of Off-Piste skiing and you can link turns on moderate terrain. You find it harder to link turns in steep slopes, or in icy / crusty conditions and would like to improve in these areas.

Off-Piste Advanced
You’ve been skiing Off-Piste for many years and can ski fast with good control on moderate slopes. You are comfortable on steeper slopes and you would like to be challenged. You don’t mind hiking or touring to reach the best slopes.
