About Chalet Les Pelerins
Chalet Les Pelerins is a stylish, comfortable chalet for you to relax and use as a base for winter or summer adventures. In the winter you will enjoy a fully catered luxury break, getting pampered to a 3 course dinner and breakfast everyday. In the summer we rent the chalet out as self catered and the flexibility that comes with that. The highly flexible layout means that the Chalet can be used as a large 12 person catered chalet, or can be split into 2 fully equipped self-catered apartments.
We committed to the environment and try our best to be a Green Chalet – we are the first chalet in Chamonix to install solar panels for heating water, we manage our energy usage and recycle where possible.
The chalet was fully renovated from roof to basement during the summer of 2007, with the renovation focused on keeping original features, but providing a stylish, comfortable and relaxing interior. Throughout the renovation environmental impact has been carefully considered, with sustainable materials being used where possible and particular attention paid to energy usage.
Chalet Les Pelerins is owned and run by me, David Robertson and here I live together with Åsa, my partner in crime, love and sunny powder days and the occasional foggy snowstorm. Chalet Les Pelerins is our home and our base for most of the year, summer as winter and we are happy to share it with you, ”Mi Casa es Su Casa” as they say in the movies. Chamonix is our playground so feel free to ask us about our favourite skiing spots, best crêpe in town or whatever is on your mind. We are also here to lend a hand at whatever needs doing and will provide “resort guiding” plus help out sorting out equipment hire, instruction, guiding and generally making sure you have a smooth holiday.
But “no man is an island” so to ensure that your holiday become as good as possible, we'll have a great team of people to help us out.
Jim, our English Chef – he's worked in many gastro pubs before coming out to Chamonix. He's a mad keen climber & skier and is more than happy to help advise you on routes, conditions, weather etc.
Ingrid, our Chalet Host – is swapping the Emerald Isle for the French Alps. This winter she leaves the beauty of the North Down coast line for the splender of the majestic Mont Blanc, brining with her a zest for lift and sense of humour. She is looking forward to learning new skills and meeting some interesting people.
rew, our South African driver – when not driving he’s most often to be found on the mountain skiing, climbing & ski touring. Always a useful guy to ask for advice on routes & conditions...

About Action Outdoors
Chalet Les Pelerins is also the base for the highly successful Action Outdoors – an adventure travel company specialising in all-inclusive adventure sports breaks. Action Outdoors was founded in 2004 and it's owned and run by David Robertson. We work in very close partnership with UCPA, a large French organisation (like a cross between the sports council and the Youth Hostel Association). Sports vary from Skiing in the winter to paragliding and kite surfing in the summer – if an outdoor activity exists then we probably have it on our list!
